వలపుల వాన

సౌధం పై ద్వారం చెంత నిలబడి ఆమె ఇటే చూస్తోంది 
నేను వర్షం లో తడుస్తూ చెట్టు కింద ఉన్నాను
ఇరు చూపులు కలిసాయి . మెరుపులు మెరిసాయి .
వర్షం పెద్దదై తడిసిపోతున్నాను
ఆమె నవ్వులు మల్లెల మత్తులై కైపునిస్తున్నాయి
ఆమె అందాలను పైట చెంగు తో కప్పేస్తూ లోపల దోపుకుంది
ఇంట్లో జల్లు పడ్తోంది అంటూ తలుపులు వేసాడు పనివాడు .
నా చూపుల బాణాలు కిటికీలలోకి వేసాను .
ఆమె ఎక్కడా దర్శనం లేదు 
వర్షం తగ్గిపోయింది .
ఆమె మేడపై టీ తాగుతూ కనిపించింది
ఇక చాలు ఇంటికి వెళ్ళమని సైగ చేసింది
కొంటె నవ్వులతో గుండెను తూట్లు పొడిచింది .
అప్పుడే ఆగిన వర్షాన్ని తిట్టుకుంటూ ఇంటి ముఖం పట్టాను . 
 

Makara sankranthi - Cow worship

                                   HAPPY MAKARA SANKRANTHI TO U ALL.

      May this festival bring joy n prosperity in ur lives.   Today am just writing 2 slokas n the meanings which tell us the greatness of COW.  Actually on the third day of this festival we worship the Cows n Bulls.  In the villages, in olden days they used to decorate their Cows n Bulls n do pujas n all.  There used to be some competitions with bullock carts also.  That's a very good traditional way of celebrating this festival as this festival is considered to be the biggest festival for farmers n all the workers as they get the produce from their farm lands.  so they celebrate this festival in a grand scale.  So this is the biggest festival for all the farmers n workers.  On this occasion we atleast try to know the importance of this Holy Animal.



గోమయేనాను లిప్తాయాం  భూమౌ యాః  కుర్వతే క్రియాః
అనంత ఫలదా విప్ర! భవేయుహ్  వై న సంశయః    ( మాయాపురీ మహాత్మ్యం ).
   ఆవు పేడతో అలికిన భూమి పై చెయ్యబడిన పనులన్నియూ  నిస్సం శయముగా అనంత ఫలములను ఇచ్చును .
గాం చ స్పృశతి యో నిత్యం స్నాతో భవతి నిత్యశః
అతో మర్త్యః ప్రపుష్ట్యైస్తూ సర్వ పాపై: ప్రముచ్యతే     (పద్మ పురాణము )
   ప్రతిరోజు ఉదయం స్నానము చేసిన తరువాత ఆవును స్పర్శించినంత మాత్రమున సకల పాపముల నుండి విముక్తి పొందవచ్చును .
